I was always proud of the fact that I have green eyes. I absolutely love this color, I think it’s the color of joy and positivity and I have always associated it with nature. I also adore blue, the color of the sky, a color that brings calmness into our lives. Last but not least… brown is such a flirty eye color and brown eyes look good with pretty much any eyeshadow color but mostly gold and neutral tones.
However, since I’ve only had green eyes all my life (I was never able to wear contact lenses) I’m going to share my opinion on which are the best eyeshadow colors you can wear if you have this eye color.
*Random thought: did you know that only 2% of the world’s population has green eyes? That means only 140 million out of 7 billion people have green eyes. How cool is that? If you’re interested in finding out more, you can find a lot of information about it on Google!
Since green and blue are cool colors, the eyeshadows I’m going to talk about look great on both. Let’s get started!

My first favorite eyeshadow color is purple. Any shade of this amazing royal color makes my eyes pop incredibly. I usually put a light shade on my eyelids and then a darker shade in the outer corner of my eyes. If you blend it well enough, you can create a beautiful day time look. You can apply a nude lipgloss on the lips and a pale pink blush and the result is a fresh look, perfect for a date, school or work.
I also like pink eyeshadows or eyeshadows that have pink undertones. I wrote a review of the Naked 3 by Urban Decay palette if you guys are interested to check it out.
My next favorite color is… copper! This reddish brown eyeshadow makes the green/blue stand out more and the final result looks chic and wearable. It’s also not that common, I really haven’t seen that many girls wearing it, not the ones that have green or blue eyes at least. But of course, I think copper compliments brown eyes as well. It’s a very versatile color, I love it! 🙂
The last one I’m going to show you is actually a combination of gold and a shade of blue/green. I absolutely love turquoise color as well but the exact shade I prefer is kind of rare and difficult to find. However, I think this combo works amazing for both green and blue eyes whenever you want to wear something more interesting.
